He is Associate Professor Department of Plastic Surgery SSKM Hospital IPGME & R, Kolkata and visitng plastic surgeon of AMRI hospital and Woodlands Hospital, Kolkata.
Dr. Sarkar has proven interest in Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, he has acquired expertise in different cosmetic surgeries like Hair Transplant, Liposuction, Rhinoplasty, Breast Surgeries, Different Facial Cosmetic surgeries and Anti Aging Treatment of Face etc.
Dr Sarkar is past secretary and treasurer of association of plastic surgeons of west bengal and member of association of plastic surgeons of india and national academy of burns of india.He has published a several papers on cosmetic and plastic surgery in different national and international journals.he regurly attends and present papers in different conferences on hair transplant,liposuction,laser surgery and also all other types of cosmetic and plastic surgery.
